Life’s frenetic pace often leaves us feeling depleted. Enter Restorative Yoga – a practice designed to heal and rejuvenate your body and mind. Join us as we explore this soothing, healing style of yoga.
“Stillness, is not the absence of movement or sound. It’s not about focusing on nothingness; it’s about creating a physical and emotional clearing to allow ourselves to feel, think, dream and question.”
– Brené Brown
Restorative Yoga – A Practice of Renewal
Restorative Yoga is all about comfort and relaxation. Using props like blankets, bolsters, and blocks, poses are fully supported, allowing the body to completely surrender into each asana. The postures are held for extended periods, encouraging a deep state of relaxation.
The Restorative Yoga Experience
A typical Restorative Yoga class moves at a slow, meditative pace. Fewer poses are performed, often only 5-6 in an hour-long class. These poses, while simple, are designed to promote total relaxation, easing tension in the muscles and calming the nervous system.

I have a (senior citizen) friend who would do very well in your Restorative Yoga class. I’m having trouble locating these classes in your schedule.
Can you please tell me when these classes are put on?
Thank you.
Thanks John,
We sent you a direct message!
