CLASSES
intermediate -> advanced
warm OR infrared heat
Looking to elevate your yoga practice and challenge your boundaries? Get ready to sweat, stretch, and find ultimate bliss in the intensity of our Hot Vinyasa Flow (level 2/3). This dynamic practice combines the flow of Vinyasa Yoga with the heat of infrared panels, creating a transformative experience that extends beyond the mat.
“Vinyasa” is a Sanskrit term that translates to “arranging in a special way.” In Vinyasa Flow, this refers to the harmonious alignment of breath and movement. The infrared heat adds an element of challenge, requiring increased focus and endurance.
A level II/III class indicates that this class is designed for intermediate to advanced yogis. It incorporates complex poses such as arm balances and inversions as well as challenging transitions and sequences. Prior yoga experience is required.
“The ultimate goal of yoga is to always observe things accurately, and therefore never act in a way that will make us regret our actions later.”
― T.K.V. Desikachar
Turn up the HEAT: understanding (warm) vs. infrared heat aka HOT 🔥
Our Vinyasa Flow – All Levels classes are held in an unheated studio, room temperature. Our II/III level classes are either (warm) or HOT. (warm) signified that you’ll be practicing in a room heated between 75-80 degrees Fahrenheit. “HOT” signifies that you’ll be practicing under the infrared panels with the room heated up to 85-105 degrees Fahrenheit. The added heat makes your muscles more flexible and promotes a deep, cleansing sweat that aids in detoxification.
We highly suggest having at least 20 all levels classes under your belt before exploring a II/III class.
What to expect in an advanced Vinyasa class?
Come prepared to sweat and step out of your comfort zone! Each class begins with a warm-up sequence, often Sun Salutations, which is more intense due to the heated room. This is followed by a sequence of more advanced asanas, each flowing seamlessly into the next, driven by your inhales and exhales. Expect standing balances, arm balances and invitations to invert throughout class. There is less set-up cueing provided in our advanced classes; most classes focus on refinement of asana utilizing hands on asists and adjustments.
The class concludes with a cool-down phase, allowing your body to absorb the work you’ve done. Despite the intensity, every session ends with a deep sense of calm and accomplishment.
The Benefits of Vinyasa II/III
Yoga is so much more than poses on a mat; yoga is the daily decision to lead with your heart and live a more compassionate, loving lifestyle and then pass this love on to those around you.
